What is the least expensive way to ship freight such as clothes, books, small furniture and appliances?

Q. Which is least expensive: UPS ground, Air, train, or bus? I am relocating from California to Texas. Renting a U-haul truck is very expensive considering the gas and the rental itself.

A. the very least expensive way is USPS, parcel post......goes by truck, takes probably 2 weeks for the clothes and appliances.......even cheaper is books that go "book rate"....

Dont know about small furniture.......but money sure travells easily..sell there buy new ?

What is an easy way to measure your pitching speed in baseball besides buying a radar gun?
Q.

A. use ye olde mathematics, s=d/t meaning, get a good stopwatch. Measure the distance from the plate to the mound (60.6ft is MLB standard) get someone to measure the time it takes the ball to travell from your hand to the catcher's mitt, then go to this site (http://www.csgnetwork.com/baseballpitchspdcalc.html) and input the values and hit calculate.
Voila!

How long should we travel to Europe for?
Q. My family wants to travel to Europe next summer and we want to go to Italy, Austria, Germany, France, and Spain. How long do you think that we should go for to really get to see all of the famous sites and all of the other must-see places.

Thanks in advance!
basically, the cities that we want to go to are Rome, Milan, Venice, Verona, Innsbruck, (maybe Vienna), Munich, Frankfort, Berlin, Strasbourg, Paris, Nantes, Barcelona, Valencia, and Madrid.

A. (city - minimum days, suggested days)

Rome - 2 , 5
Milan - 1, 0 (don't go to Milan, its not worth the time. nothing to see there, ugly industrial town - in my oppinion - maybe try Firenze instead, much more beautiful)
Venice - 1,1 (a must have, but it's soooo crowded with tourists)
Verona 1,1 (never been there, but rather small)
Innsbruck 1,0 (not worth to visit)
maybe Vienna 2,4 (great city, one of the best worldwide; not directly on your route, but definatly worth to visit)
Munich 2,4 (my hometown)
Frankfurt 1,2
Berlin 2,5
Strasbourg 1, don't know havent been there
Paris 3,6
Nantes (don't know at all)
Barcelona 3,5
Valencia (don't know at all)
Madrid 3,5

I would guess a minimum of 4 weeks for this programm (estimating you sleep during moving from one point to the other), but this is already so tight I doubt it could be fun. If I were you, I would rather cut some places and enjoy more. My route (based on your route) would be:

5 days in Rome
1 day travel, slowly, with time to go to smaller villages a little bit of the highways (it's worth it)
1 day to Venice
1 day travell, go see the alps, go on top of a mountain, enjoy pure nature
4 days Vienna
1 day travell, go see the Chiemsee incl. Castle Herrenchiemsee and monestry frauenchiemsee with a bouttour
3 days Munich
1 day travel (you'll need all day for the travalling, so no stop)
5 days Paris
2 days travel, stop in Nice and traval at the cost to...
5 days Barcelona

It's still about 29 days... Contact me for further advise.
